Aya Smart IPTV

Privacy Policy

Aya Smart IPTV is a video player for Android TV. It has no accounts, no servers and no advertising, and it collects no personal data whatsoever.

Effective: 23 August 2026  ·  Last updated: 23 August 2026  ·  Applies to: Aya Smart IPTV (com.aya.smartiptv), version 1.0.0 and later

The short version

We do not collect, transmit, store, sell or share any personal data. There is no account to create, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDK of any kind inside the app.

Aya Smart IPTV is a player, not a service. It has no servers of its own. The only place it ever sends anything is the IPTV provider whose details you type in, and that provider is your relationship, not ours. Everything else the app knows stays on your television and is deleted when you uninstall it.

No account

You never register with us, and we never see an email address or a name.

No analytics or ads

No tracking libraries, no advertising identifiers, no usage reporting.

No servers

We operate no backend. Nothing is uploaded to us, because there is no “us” to upload to.

Everything stays local

Your provider details, favourites and viewing positions live only on the device.

1Who this policy is from

Aya Smart IPTV is published by Deela, and this policy explains how the app handles information. If you have any question about it, write to contactus@deela.se.

This policy covers the Aya Smart IPTV application only. It does not cover the IPTV provider you choose to connect it to, nor anything you watch through it. See section 5.

2What we collect

Nothing. We collect no personal data, no device identifiers, no usage statistics and no diagnostics. The app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash-reporting service and no social-media integration.

This is the same declaration we make on the app's Data Safety form on Google Play. Set out in the terms Google uses:

Data typeCollected?Shared?Notes
Personal info (name, email, address)NoNoNever requested by the app.
Financial infoNoNoThe app takes no payments.
LocationNoNoNo location permission is declared.
Contacts, calendar, photos, messagesNoNoNo such permission is declared.
App activity / viewing historyNoNoRecorded on the device only, never transmitted.
Device or advertising identifiersNoNoThe app reads none.
Crash logs and diagnosticsNoNoWritten to a local file only, for you to read. See section 3.
Credentials you enter for your providerNoNoEncrypted on the device; sent only to your own provider.

3What the app stores on your device

To work at all, the app keeps a number of things in its own private storage on your television. None of it is visible to other apps, none of it is uploaded, and all of it is removed when you uninstall.

  • Your provider details. The server address, username and password for each source you add. Passwords are held in encrypted storage protected by the Android Keystore; the app's database stores only a reference to the secret, never the secret itself.
  • A copy of your provider's catalogue. Channel, film and series listings, artwork addresses and programme-guide data, so the app opens instantly instead of re-downloading tens of megabytes each time.
  • Your favourites, pinned groups and viewing positions, so “Continue watching” can work.
  • Your preferences: theme, language, subtitle appearance, refresh schedule.
  • A parental PIN, if you set one. It is stored as a salted SHA-256 hash in the same encrypted store, never as the digits you chose.
  • Films you choose to download, in the app's private storage, until you delete them.
  • A crash record. If the app closes unexpectedly it writes the error to a single local file so you can see what happened, under Settings. Addresses and credentials are stripped out before anything is written, and the file never leaves the device.

Automatic cloud backup is switched off for this app, so none of the above is copied to your Google account. The trade-off is deliberate: it also means a new television starts empty rather than restoring your provider password from a backup.

4What leaves your device

The app makes network connections to one destination only: the IPTV provider whose address you entered. Those requests carry your username and password because that is how the provider authenticates you, exactly as they would in any other IPTV player.

There is no other outbound traffic. The app contacts no servers belonging to us, no analytics endpoint and no content delivery network. Artwork and programme guides are fetched from whatever addresses your own provider supplies.

5Your IPTV provider

Aya Smart IPTV supplies no channels, films, series or subscriptions, and carries no content of its own. Everything you watch comes from a provider you have chosen and configured yourself.

That provider is an independent third party. It can see your account activity (when you connect, what you stream, and your IP address), and its own privacy policy and terms govern that, not this document. If you want to know what your provider records about you, ask them. We have no visibility into it and no ability to act on it.

6Permissions

The app asks for a small set of Android permissions, each for one visible purpose:

  • Internet and network state: to reach your provider, and to notice when the connection has dropped.
  • Foreground service and data sync: a film download of a gigabyte or more runs longer than Android allows a background task, so it runs as a visible foreground job.
  • Notifications: to show that download's progress. Android requires a notification for a foreground service.
  • Wake lock: to keep the device awake while something is playing or downloading.
  • Run at startup: so a refresh you scheduled survives a reboot.

The app requests no access to location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, files outside its own storage, or any device identifier.

7How your details are protected

Provider passwords and the parental PIN are held in encrypted storage backed by the Android Keystore, so the key protecting them is bound to the device hardware where the device supports it. The app's database never contains a password in readable form, and credentials are stripped from any error the app writes down.

No security is absolute, and one limit is worth stating plainly: a device that someone else can physically use is a device on which your provider account can be used. If your television is shared, the parental PIN is the control the app gives you.

8Deleting your data

Because nothing is ever sent to us, there is nothing for us to delete and no request you need to make. You are in full control:

  • Remove a single account, and its downloaded catalogue goes with it, from Settings → Sources.
  • Clear the app's storage from your television's Android settings to reset it completely.
  • Uninstall the app, and everything described in section 3 is removed with it.

9Children

Aya Smart IPTV is not directed at children and we knowingly collect no data from anyone, of any age. Because the app plays whatever your provider carries, and we have no control over that catalogue, it includes a parental PIN that gates adult content. Setting it is the responsibility of whoever owns the device.

10Content and copyright

Aya Smart IPTV does not sell, resell or supply channels, films or subscriptions, and hosts no content. It is a player, in the same sense as any media player you install on a computer. You are responsible for holding the rights to the content you play through it, and for complying with the law where you live.

11Your rights

Privacy law in the UK, the EEA and elsewhere gives you rights to access, correct, export and erase personal data held about you, and to object to its processing. Those rights are directed at whoever holds your data. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to produce, correct or erase. You already hold all of it, on your own device, and can remove it at any time as described in section 8.

For anything held by your IPTV provider, or by Google in connection with your download of the app from Google Play, please direct your request to them.

12Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, the policy will be updated here and the “last updated” date at the top will change with it. Should a future version ever collect anything at all, we will say so plainly and ask before it does.
